Our Vision
Welcome to Cascadia Doodles, where a lifelong love of dogs and family come together to raise extraordinary puppies with purpose and heart.
After spending 30 years in a different field, I made a life-changing decision to pursue a deeper calling—raising and training dogs that would make a difference in people’s lives. I gained hands-on experience in professional dog training and eventually mentored others, laying a strong foundation in canine behavior and communication.That journey led to six years of running a dog daycare with my children, further preparing us for responsible, ethical breeding.
Today, I operate Cascadia Doodles alongside my fiancée and two of my four adult children, Jordon and Kassie, right here on our peaceful two-acre property in Veneta, Oregon.Each puppy is raised in our home—not in kennels—so they grow up around family, love, and the natural rhythms of daily life. We begin early socialization, gentle exposure to grooming and crate training, and experiences like car rides to help shape calm, confident puppies ready for life as companions, support animals, or even service dog candidates.
My son Jordon Guffy plays a vital role in our program. He owns our carefully selected studs and lives on a dedicated half-acre compound here on the property. Our male dogs are raised and loved in Jordon’s home, where they receive daily care, affection, and individual attention. His involvement ensures the health, temperament, and happiness of our sires, which is a key part of producing outstanding puppies.
Kassie, my daughter, is equally devoted to the heart and mission of Cascadia Doodles. She lives on the property and works side-by-side with me every day, caring for the puppies and adult dogs alike. With a strong background in canine behavior from her experience in our doggy daycare, Kassie brings expertise in pack dynamics, handling, and early puppy development. She also maintains her own ethical breeding program, raising two carefully planned litters per year. Kassie's love for animals shines through in her belief that every pet should be treated like family.
With generations of experience, including a family history (my mom and sister during my young life) in AKC poodle breeding and showing—we’ve built a program focused on integrity, heart, and long-term success for both our dogs and their future families.We welcome you to join the Cascadia Doodles family—where every puppy is raised with love, structure, and intention.
Our Process
Our breeding process is carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of our dogs. We conduct extensive health screenings and genetic testing to ensure that our puppies are free of any hereditary diseases or conditions. We also provide our dogs with the best possible care, including proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization.
